Meet Hannah
I love working as a counsellor and consider it a huge privilege to walk alongside people as they seek to connect with and learn more about themselves, process experiences, build resources and embark on changes that are right for them.
Having benefited myself so much from spaces in which I have felt heard, understood and seen, this is something I am passionate about offering my clients.
Where it all began
It is a journey that started in 2017, although now I can see how this path was on the cards for me years before when my Natural Sciences degree at Cambridge University ended with a Psychology specialism.
After university, I spent a decade working in Human Resources for a large global investment bank in central London, so I have familiarity with the corporate world and the pressures and challenges it can bring.
My counselling career formally started with an introduction to counselling skills course and from then on I was hooked. I continued my studies, eventually completing a diploma in Integrative Counselling (CPTA, Reading) followed a couple of years later with a further diploma in Trauma Counselling (Willows Counselling & Training).
I received accreditation from the BACP in 2025, demonstrating my commitment to ongoing professional development and my levels of knowledge, skills and experience.
Growing my practice
Being active is important for my physical and mental wellbeing, so it felt like a natural expansion of my practice to start offering Walking Therapy in 2025. You will find me walking in all (safe) weathers; my walking boots or wellies ready by the door for their next outing.
On holiday you’ll find me scanning the beach for interesting rocks and pebbles to add to my collection for use in our in-person sessions.
